What is The Emergence Project?
The Emergence Project consists of a select group of emerging, contemporary artists curated by Sarah Elizabeth Condon.
In an effort to bring more awareness to the work of these artists, Sarah has edited/promoted/evolved The Emergence Project website since 2007.We have recently switched to a blog format, in order to make this website more interactive, in the form of audience and artist participation. The artists involved with this project are now able to post updates about their work on the front page, and viewers are able to comment on works, subscribe to an RSS feed for updates, and be in direct contact with artists.
About the Curator:
I’m Sarah Elizabeth Condon, a contemporary artist and curator (and mommy).
I am opening The Eclipse Gallery the last weekend in May 09 in Algoma, WI. You are invited to the opening of Personality: Exploring Real People & Imagined Characters. Emergence Project artist Liz Gresey is one of the five artists in the show.
The Eclipse Gallery will specialize in cutting edge contemporary art and handmade indie craft and design.
